
Slimline Mio Spirit car sat nav
Needed to give a heads up on my latest gadget, a new cool car sat nav, the Mio Spirit 500 to be exact. Now I’ve not tested it yet that comes tomorrow, a decent journey in the V6. The thing is I needed to blog about how I felt when I got it, last time I felt this compelled I’d just bought a Mk2 16v Golf, so these spontaneous posts are rare.
Anyway, I’l continue, the feel of the Spirit is superb and like an iPhone makes you feel good. It doesn’t usually take much to get me hyped up over technology, but unlike other gadgets I actually love this one, it’s slimline, in cool colours, touchscreen and a really cool car gadgetand fits with into my other gadgets including a Sony Bluetooth head unit, Vibe black box amp, ipod and Sony Pentagon 15″ sub.
The first thing I noticed about this latest Navman Sat nav was its got a decent size screen 4.7″ ideal for touchscreen, its slimline meaning it looks modern and the fact it comes in black and silver means it matches my iPhone, it’s also only 13.95 mm deep and you’ve got to love the tagline for Mio ‘explore more’ and thats exactly what i’m going to do tomorrow. the Navman Spirit 300 Traffic is the entry level model and comes with a dinky 3.5-inch screen, while the Spirit 500 and Spirit Flat both boast 4.7-inch widescreens – the latter coming in super slim as well.
Yes they are great little sat nav units, slick design and superb functionality.
