Car registrations slump again

New car registrations fell for the second month in a row in August and the downward trend is expected to continue for the rest of the year.

Sales fell by 17.5% compared with August 2009, according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). A total of 55,305 cars were registered last month.

Car audio specialist JBL says all cars will eventually have sound systems of the quality that only premium cars currently have.

The start, says JBL, is its MS-8 System Integration Digital Processor. It boosts the quality of your car’s current system without having to add amplifiers or speakers.

Ferrari 458 Italia to be recalled

Ferrari has recalled every 458 Italia supercar, following reports that the car could spontaneously catch fire.
